Gorgon Project

This project is one of the world’s largest natural gas projects and the largest single-resource investment in Australia’s history.

The natural gas fields of the Gorgon Project have an estimated economic life of over 40 years and will play a key role in helping to meet the growing energy needs in Asia and Australia.

Applied Polymers supplied APTANE® high density polyurethane (HD PUR) pour foam systems for the Gorgon project. Applied Polymersalso supplied APTANE® low density polyurethane (LD PUR) spray foam systems for pre-insulated pipe sections and low density pour foam systems for the insulation of valve boxes.
